Nashville KOA Resort entrance sign with a large guitar

We stayed in back-in site R25 at Nashville KOA Resort with our KZ Sportsmen Classic 130RD and Hyundai Santa Cruz. The site was clean, the grounds were well maintained, and the campground made a strong first impression with an escort to our campsite. This review reflects our stay at R25; another site or visit may differ.

Arrival and fit for our small trailer

The large guitar at the entrance made the campground easy to recognize. Staff escorted us to R25, a back-in site where we parked the truck and trailer on gravel and worked through setup. The site was clean when we arrived. Our photo records our particular space, not the dimensions or spacing of every site at the resort.

If you have a longer trailer, a slide-out, or another vehicle, confirm the dimensions and parking arrangement for the exact site before booking. Our compact rig does not establish what will work for a larger one. KOA’s campground map is useful for understanding the layout, but the reservation details are the right place to confirm a specific site.

What we saw on the grounds

The grounds were well maintained during our stay, and there was plenty to use beyond the campsite. We had access to a pool and showers that were in good condition, and there was live entertainment by the pool. We also photographed an outdoor recreation court with a low net. Those are observations from our visit; KOA’s current amenities list is the place to check what will be offered when you travel.

Customer service was excellent in our experience. In addition to the escort on arrival, staff came around to collect trash each morning. We can speak to the condition of the showers and grounds we saw, but do not have a confirmed nightly rate or a measured Wi-Fi or cellular result to report.

Hookups and the Nashville base

Our setup photos document the electrical pedestal and a fresh-water hose with an inline filter. We used a 30-amp Power Watchdog at the pedestal. Our voltage reading stayed above 120 volts even at the highest load we put on the hookup during this stay. That was a welcome result at R25, not a controlled test or a promise about power at other sites. Confirm the service on your reservation and match it to your RV before traveling.

For the order of arrival tasks and close-up hookup photos, see our small travel trailer campsite setup checklist. Our Nashville trip gear notes explain the equipment we carried.

The campground offered a shuttle to downtown Broadway, a useful option for a city visit after parking the trailer. We drove into Nashville during our stay, so we cannot review the shuttle ride or its schedule. Check current service and your return plans directly with the campground. Our Nashville RV road-trip account covers the drive and what we did beyond camp.

What to check before booking

  • Confirm the exact site’s length, layout, surface, and space for your tow vehicle.
  • Check the electrical service and whether water and sewer are included at that site.
  • Verify current check-in details, rate, and cancellation terms directly with KOA.
  • Decide how you will reach Nashville attractions after the trailer is parked.
  • Check current facility hours if a particular amenity matters to your trip.

Our take

We would rate our stay at Nashville KOA Resort 9 out of 10 and would return. Clean back-in site R25, well-kept grounds, good showers, the pool and live entertainment, morning trash pickup, and attentive staff all contributed to that rating. The downtown shuttle was another useful option. Your decision will still depend on the specific site, current rate, and plans for visiting Nashville.
