Original work and clear attribution
Articles should offer original explanations and practical value. We do not publish copied articles or present another person’s work as our own. Quotes must be attributed, and source material must be checked rather than lightly rewritten. Writing and research tools do not replace editorial responsibility: facts, sources, and recommendations require review before publication.
Research and fact-checking
We prioritize manufacturer manuals, official specifications, government guidance, and other authoritative primary sources. We check model numbers, compatibility, units, calculations, and important limitations. Where sources disagree or evidence is incomplete, we explain the uncertainty. Readers should verify current prices, availability, service plans, and regulations with the relevant provider or authority.
Experience and research are different
We identify firsthand ownership, installation, or use only when it actually occurred. A specification comparison or buying guide is not a hands-on test. Researched recommendations should explain their basis and must not imply personal testing. Photographs or illustrations alone are not evidence that we used a product.
How we evaluate equipment
Recommendations consider the problem a product solves, compatibility, power requirements, setup, support, limitations, and value for the intended RV use. When reporting hands-on evaluation, we describe the equipment, conditions, observations, and limits of the evaluation. We do not treat one trip or installation as proof that a product will work everywhere. Manufacturer performance claims should be identified as claims unless independently verified.
