FOUNDER & EDITOR · OUT WEST SURVIVAL
Practical guidance for understanding your RV, staying connected, and preparing for the unexpected.
Meet Daven
Daven Edwards is Founder & Editor of Out West Survival. He is an RV owner with a background in web design and marketing and an interest in radio communications. He brings those interests together through practical articles about RV travel, mobile connectivity, off-grid power, preparedness, and useful equipment.
His focus is helping readers understand what a system does, where it helps, its limitations, and whether it suits their travel needs. RV ownership informs the publication’s direction; product recommendations must clearly distinguish personal experience from research.
Editorial responsibility
Daven sets the publication’s editorial direction and is responsible for its standards. A byline identifies the author; an editor credit identifies editorial responsibility. Neither credit alone means that every product mentioned was personally tested.
Read our Editorial Standards for our approach to sources, equipment evaluation, affiliate relationships, corrections, and updates.
